Never abandoned

Writer: Shiloh HumbleShiloh Humble

οὐ μή (oo-may)

You're The One, who has never left.

Never abandoned me.

The One who's held me, through my tears.

Even when I couldn't see.

You held, and lifted up my soul

And even now, You're here, with me.

You've proven, again, I'm never alone

Never, no never, will it be.

In Greek, you used the word οὐ μή (oo-may).

A promise you long for us to see.

"Never, no never, will I abandon you.

There's no chance. No, I will never leave."

Like a mother her child, a lion her cub,

It's you, with us, with me.

Yet, You're even greater. There's no chance you could fail.

And that's what you want us to see.

If we run, if we flee, if we choose to be blind,

If we hide in the depths of the sea.

Like King David once wrote, and knew of you Lord,

"Even if I'm in hell, there, you'll also be."
