On dark cloudy days we may easily notice the gloom. But we can choose hope. And see it as being protected from the heat.
We can choose to see it as the potential, and promise, of rain. Rain which brings cleansing, healing, refreshing. That is necessary for growth, and many other things.
When thousands of life's arrows are shot into the sky, flying in our direction. Meant to harm us. Even by, simply, inciting fear.
We, in hope and in faith, can see it as a moment of peace. The arrows have not yet pierced us. They have not taken our lives. They have not yet, even reached us.
As those arrows of life's, overwhelming, struggles blot out the light of the sun. We can think, and know.
We are blessed to be alive. Even blessed by the arrows. Because now, as the arrows cover the light of the sun. We are relieved and shielded. Because of the arrows we can now fight, in the comfort of the shade.
