Connoisseur
The skill that is developed by being a connoisseur of something (coffee, cheese, bourbon, wine, etc.) is similar to the skill of introspection (a peaceful and contemplative state of searching, inspecting, and analyzing our internal selves).
Developing the hobby and skills that allow us to be more aware of the quality of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can help us to fully realize what we do and don't enjoy about our internal ingredients, which currently make up who we are.
Once we take the time to recognize these things, then we can decide what we would like to change. We will find that we have the opportunity, and the ability, to change the quality and ingredients of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Like experimenting with different flavors and brews of coffee, and finding which ones we enjoy the most, we can experiment with our internal ingredients and similarly find which ones seem to create the most enjoyable us.
