“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
We hope for intended outcomes. I hoped that one day I would internally heal, stop having nightmares and mental torment; which is now becoming a reality for me. We hope for various things. Freedom from unhealthy behaviors and habits. We hope for better situations in life. If we hold onto hope, if we can keep envisioning that intended and desired thing, then faith builds that thing.
Faith is the substance, the building materials that come together overtime; making our hope actualized. The enemy knows how this unseen technology works. He knows it better than we do. So he will put all his effort into stopping hope.
Hopelessness is one of the ways the enemy dismantles and interrupts the building process of faith. We must hold onto hope. Hope for the freedom(s) we need. Hope for restoration(s). Hope for the blessing and favor that God said are ours. Grasp hope again, and faith will begin building that hope again. Bringing it into this reality.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for. "
Hope creates, emits, or leads to Faith. And faith is the substance of what we hope for. Below is the definition of "substance".
sub·stance -
1. a particular kind of matter with uniform properties.
(Similar: material, matter, stuff, fabric)
2. the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence.
The substance, the "materials" and "stuff" that create what we are believing for, originates from hope. If we lose hope, we stop the process of faith. We stop the gathering of the "substance", or materials that are building and creating the things we are hoping for.
Keep hoping. Worry, fear, etc., are enemies of hope & faith. Recognize the enemies and disagree with them. Then hope again; and faith will ensue from hope. That faith is the substance and materials coming together, building and creating the thing(s) we envisioned, in hope.
Hope in God. Hope in His promises. Hope, and keep believing in His love. Keep your hope alive by believing in His goodness, and in His desires of great things for you. When you're tempted to lose or give up hope, seek God again; and let the God of Hope restore your hope.
"May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope."
Romans 15:13 AMPC
