Pass Through Your Obstacle
"When you love the obstacle in front of you, instead of experiencing a collision you are able to pass through it."
Love is patience, kindness, gentleness, etc. This is how Jesus treated everyone, including his enemies, and the legion of demons (Mark 5:1-13).
When you face an unexpected challenge, dont fear; love.
Love! Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Love trusts.
If we dont trust God, then some things that God allows us to face may seem like obstacles and hindrances. This causes a clash due to our expectations and desires; ultimately leaving us with a sense of disappointment. The way to pass through these things without a collision is to accept what God has allowed. Trust Him, love (accept) the trial, and give thanks for it (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Romans 5:3; James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 4:12,13).
In Luke 4, Jesus had just made a declaration of what God was going to do through Him. This declaration was immediately met with resistance. The resistance was allowed by God. This was a test of Jesus' trust in His Father...
"When they heard this, the people in the synagogue were furious. Jumping up, they mobbed him and forced him to the edge of the hill on which the town was built. They intended to push him over the cliff" ...
[Jesus could have become fearful, anxious, and confused as to why God would allow such a horrible and dangerous situation to occur. Instead, He remained at peace. He remained in trust. Despite the unexpected rise of hostile resistance, Jesus faced his obstacle (enemies) with peace, trust, and love. He kept his trust in God, and at the divinely appointed moment, when the test had been passed, God created a miraculous and mysterious path of peaceful escape.]
... "but he passed right through the crowd and went on his way."
Luke 4:28-30 NLT
As God becomes the love of our life, and the desire above all desires, then we learn to trust Him; knowing that He guides all things exactly how they should be. With trust in Him, and acceptance (peace) in all that He allows us to face, we can leap over walls, climb mountains, and overcome any obstacle (Psalm 18). What used to seem like obstacles, hindrances, and setbacks are now viewed as opportunities for miracles, divine intervention, and displays of the love, will, and power of God.
From the place of peace and trust (loving the Father and remaining aware of His intense love for you) the power of God will flow. Gods power and miracles flow from a peaceful spirit, not from an anxious and fearful mind. Walk in the spirit, always. Peace is your strength.
This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength… [will you accept this?]
Isaiah 30:15 NLT
Love is the way! Thank you so so much for all you do!
